I have no intention of suggesting who should get your vote. But i say to you take the time to vote tomorrow, if you cant be bothered then stop whingeing about the result.

Just to let politicos know, we shall be voting in the evening tomorrow so please don't phone or knock on the door chasing me!

Someone moaned at me about knockers up keeping banging on the door.
He said he never votes and was proud of the fact that he lied to canvassers of all Parties telling them he was going to vote for them. It served him right, lying toerag.
Remember - the people knocking on the door are volunteers, they are paid nothing and are working because they believe in something so please give them some respect.
The aim of political canvassers is not to convince anyone to vote for them, but to find out who will vote for them. That way they can direct their efforts on polling day to getting out the vote. Experienced canvassers will not believe everyone who says yes anyway. It is better to get a dozen names who will definately vote for you than 30 where half are doubtful.

Then as long as you tell canvassers the truth and go out to vote you have no problem.
Remember the old saying - vote early and vote often!!!

For me, general elections or elections in general were always boring to me.
Working all the year round with the people election time realy just got in the way of my helping the people.
Elections are of course required, and I got involved in the door knocking etc, often in the early even chatting to the other parties canvassers as we met as we canvassed/knocked up.
roll on Friday and get these elections out of the way

IT'S not for me to like or dislike what you may say
It is more antisocial not to vote. We have a duty to vote and it should be compulsory - people fought hard for the right to vote, and it is our main political weapon as laypeople.

To me I try to give constructive ideas, disagree if needed, try not to talk in riddles, looks like all that hard work fighting for the vote is wasted on some.
