looking at barry's post he mentions staffordshire being meltdown for labour.
according to teletext the UKIP won 4 seats there.
why would people vote for the them in a county election?
i saw somewhere that the english democrats won a seat too.

I agree Paul, Bill Newman is a good guy and yes, everyone who puts themselves up for Councillor - Parish, Town, District or County, deserves respect.
I won't gloat at someone's demise, but I was very pleased to hear about Nigel and Roger's result - pleased for Steve Manion, Julie Rook and Kit Smith too.
