I love Jays, unusual to see a pair, they are such solitary birds.
Here are a few pics I took today.
A face only a mother could love!
Minstral, my adopted horse.
Shire horse.
Awwww.....

BTW
The Badminton Horse trials are showing today
both man and beast in bright Summer array
sometimes tragic, but ever more fun, when it's wet
surprising really, how they get so high over the net

No picture I am afraid but we had a fox in the garden the other evening I think it was eating the remains of a pizza crust that my daughter threw on the grass.

If anyone wants to visit the bluebell wood, suggest you make it in the next 10 days or so, they are at their best !

great to see those in a woodland setting, a nightmare in local gardens though.

I think you know the way? They are certainly well worth the effort.
The 'bluebells' seen in gardens are usually the Spanish bluebells which are taking over the wild ones in some areas, difficult to get rid of out of gardens (perhaps they need 'feeding out' if they dont like rich soil?
