Enthralling first half with fast intelligent play which is probably a lot down to the cool evening in St Petersburg.

Hopefully there won't be similar scenes here if we win tonight, the trouble is career thugs love to operate in such large crowds.

Latest estimate is that between 8 - 10,000 England supporters in Moscow have a ticket for the game later and it appears that the Russians in the ground will be urging our team on due to some comments made about the Ukraine by Croatian staff and players.

England should win this. Croatia have a good squad, but they're older and would surely be feeling it by now. If England do not win, I predict a riot. If they do, I predict a riot.

Superb first half performance and stunning goal, I hope we don't regret the missed chances later.

We did rue the missed chances and both sides looking very tired going into extra time, a bad mistake or magic moment will decide it. Please not penalties we can't be lucky two out of two.

The team are doing their best to hand the game to Croatia. At least Rashford's on for ET. Meanwhile, England expectorates.

Lost in the first-half, I'm afraid. Cruising, then for some reason conceded control in the last 5 or 10 minutes by playing backwards rather than pressing for the kill. Handed momentum to Croatia, who never looked like losing after that.

In my thread starter I suggested that the squad was chosen in view of the Euros in 2 years time and the World cup 2 years after.
The players and manager vastly exceeded our expectations and the sad Mr Slater has been exposed as a cretinous troll who rejoices in any short comings from an armchair.

men and women crying over a football match and that is all it is a football match ,there will be many more some they will win some they will not,but going to far to cry over it.
We are about to come out of the EU which will be a lot more worrying then a football match.Well that is how

I think anyway.

Who's rejoicing, you fool? Were you to improve your English comprehension skills you'd see that was my opinion of the game, not of the achievement, which was superb.
By the way, where do you sit to access your keyboard, on the barricades?

England done very well still one more match to play which will see them in 3rd or 4 place out of the whole world, some weeks a go they were saying England will get taken out in the first round and I did not think they would do so well as they did.So it is some thing to cheer about not cry about.

No one cry for me when I lost a boxing bout

and there was a few of them.

The England squad did brilliantly and certainly brought the country together, look at all our foreign inhabitants who backed them as well as those born here.
I will happily shout WELL DONE to those young England players and their Manager.
