We have never 'been under' the EU. We have ceased to be a member but we remain perched on the edge of a very large and powerful continent with which we will always share common interests. The current situation will be unraveling for a long time yet.

I think we should move on and forget all about the EU we are not in it great to be back as our own nation and running it by our own MPs etc
