Clearly the voters didn't do their homework on the new councillor or they wouldn't have voted for him.

I think he was the only one we believed might actually show their face in the ward.

Alan was leafleting on Saturday last, we had a chat. He did well considering this is a very strong Labour ward.
Nothing from the Labour candidate, not even a leaflet.

Cllr Mills says he accepts that there has to be 3 parking tickets used before clamping takes place but we know that the police have been clamping trucks that have been parking illegally irrespective of whether or not it is the first offence.
Who is right? The bland statement from DDC said very little.

Re post 5, only just seen this. Sorry you did not get a by election leaflet. Majority of ward was leafleted for the by election ( I know I did a good few hours) but boundary there links closely with TH so must have not gone far enough along London Road before heading up Beaconsfield.

2 By elections coming up for places on the Town Council on the 27th October. Maxton. Elms Vale and Priory to replace Ms Boulares and Castle ward to replace Mr Dimmock. One expects there to be a swathe of candidates who normally spend a large amount of their waking hours saying they could do better than the incumbents.

Mr Dimmock is a very lovely charming man who's had a lot of grief this past few yrs and he was very shabbily treated by those who professed to be his m8s,only Cllr that made any sense and told the truth as it was ,maybe that's why they got rid of him.Wonder who will replace him ,no doubt the labour lot will want their majority back to run this town further into the ground

Sure as I can be Jan, Cllr Boulares said that she didn't have the time to carry on due to her business commitments and Cllr Dimmock hadn't attended a meeting in 6 months.
