Wherever you go in the ward, Keith will pop up somewhere, he is always out and about, talking to residents and taking on board what is said and does his best to get things done, until recently I didn't know many of the councillors for the Priory Maxton and Elms Vale ward, the ones I have seen occasionally in the ward are Cowan, Richardson, Wallace, but that's about all, so goes to show whos active when you don't know who the others are

I agree you should live in the ward you represent.I seem to recall Mr Matcham stood in Maxton , Elmsvale and Priory and he lived in River.I think Gordon Doesn't live in his ward ?I suppose Howard this living locally has gone off the radar.

Gordon lives in Capel but was instrumental in saving our local bus service.

See just goes to show you don't have to live in the ward and can still make a difference..In my time I have sorted out problems in St Radigunds .

That was in his capacity as County Councillor Sue. In Town and Pier ward UKIP district councillor Georgette Rapley is standing as an Independent against John Heron of Labour.

#45 Could you please clarify. John Heron is a District Councillor and so is Georgette Rapley.
Why is the later standing against the former? Does not make sense.
Who are the candidates standing for Town Council in the Town and Pier Ward?
Thank you.

Georgette Rapley is about as much use as a Chocolate Teapot.
She cannot cope with what she is doing, let alone more.

Just been informed that a UKIP member from outside the ward will be standing as an Independent in Maxton, Elms Vale and Priory.

Another one outside the ward, what good are they to us, they no nothing of what people want, they
only come out at election times, as I said on a previous post don't know half the councillors for this ward, see Cllr Wood for the first time when she came to meet Cawca Committee, she didn't then seem to know much about what goes on, and when we spoke of the play area, said she would have to come and have a look as she didn't know where we were talking about, that's the insight in the ward they have

Rumblings of discontent in the local Labour party over Keith standing as an Independent. The problem really is that they much prefer to talk down to their core support rather than listening to them. Lessons should have been learned over the last General Election result but none were as shown by the Referendum result.

This is the bit I like the most, please be so kind as to pass me the sick bag.
Unfortunately I feel that the events conflict with my personal, moral and ethical beliefs and as such I now feel I can no longer work in the council chamber with any confidence."

Have you got the list for Town and Pier District? Thank you.
In Castle Ward, the people proposing the Candidates are more interesting
What a waste of time - none of them are in the Ward.
I really look at this, and need convincing this Town Council should exist. Mostly people get voted in, and disappear.
