I am confused I thought the idea of door knocking was to inform and convert people to vote for your party, it sounds as if you only bother with those who are already party supporters, not good to alienate these people by complaining about them.
With regard to your comment about the Tories maybe they do not feel the need to door knock in this internet age, as an example they send me an email nearly every week even though I did not request this service.
I do not actively support any particular party preferring whoever I think will represent my views and needs at election time. At the moment I feel nearly all politicians from the very top to the bottom most rung are a self serving insular bunch putting their own ego and needs before everything, luckily their are a few exceptions. The big problem is that nothing I have read on here recently is likely to change that opinion.
