Just to be clear, I am not part of Labour. I am just calling out what needs to be said

Yeah sure. Sounds totally legit.
Weirdly convenient timing of all of it don't you think Angie?
So you want us to believe that he had no clue who I was, even though you and I had converse several times on social media. That my name has done the rounds of the Labour group.
That without people in common he just magically happened upon my page and thought that guy with the barely visible profile and a logo for a profile pic...I will just add them?
Then when I mentioned your name he had no clue who his wife was until prompted with a photo? Even though I said Angie Ray's partner...
Are really going to try and lie your way out of it and do it that incredulously?
Do you not see that your games and insidiousness has been exposed? Why not just own up to this stuff and then cut it out...behave like grown-ups for once.

Although in this circumstance i probably don't blame you. Bloke has gone to bed disgusted at causing so much confusion.

Lol paranoia? The screenshots are on this page. Everyone can see your hubby ask "who is Angie Ray" right after I said "the partner of Angie Ray".
Did he forget his wife's name at the time?
My wife is called Sophie...even if they didn't use Soph's full name and just said Soph's partner I would not ask who is Sophie.
Random adding by your partner and all totally innocent...you really think people who have been watching this are going to buy this nonsense?
I am sorry but I am not paranoid in any regard, love.

I agree Sue, this is no longer about the local elections or even our love or hate them councillors, this has now developed into personal disagreements that should be fought out in private.

For those of us of a certain age, it's beginning to make The Forsyte Saga seem like a short story.

Yes, I probably could, but life’s too short for getting involved with party-political narrow-minded idiots. When I retire I might go on Eythorne Parish Council though, when I will actually have the time to do enough to make a difference to my community, rather than merely posturing as so many of our present DDC and DTC councillors do.

Rather than either The Forstye Saga or War and Peace, I'd suggest Clarissa, an enormous cheddar cheese of a novel, written in the form of letters. After resisting several attempts to force marry her, and being repeatedly imprisoned in a brothel, the heroine dies, an apt analogy for the experience and direction of democracy, local and national.

The new cabinet is unchanged except for one new one brought in for Pauline Beresford who didn't stand this time.

I think Sue to a point I agree
But we don't want to go back to the days of only tories being able to be cllrs
We need a wide range of people putting themselves forward
One of the reasons I needed time out was that I give 100% to do that your on call 24 7
But to do that you have to give other things up
Of course our community has suffered from absent cllrs from the 2 main parties for some time which was reflected in the turn out and results
You are critical of me Sue for replying to attacks on me
Yer you do it
Never mind though. I'm looking forward to a revitalised opposition one that will challenge
I live in hope
