#81 Interesting to see this post. Isn't this precisely what the mainstream media try to persuade the public that a threat to the hegemony is? The backers of an alternative political ethos are, in their eyes, an influence that must be attacked and maligned. Just have a look at how Mr Corbyn's Breton fisherman's cap has morphed (with some photo tampering) into a soviet hat - and that's the squeaky-clean, impartial BBC. Oh, and they also have him standing in a stylised Soviet backdrop.

Did you expect anything better, Your Grace?

Mr Honey, expect=no; hope=yes...but then, of course, there are those that oppose hope as it is a threat to the debilitating status quo.

Except it hasn't as newsnight have said 'it has not been photo shopped, just had the brightness changed', just did it myself by changing desktop setting with the picture in the link, low and behold same hat.
Oh and talk about crass using a backdrop of Russia in news story about Russia, incidently the same one used for the defense Secretary the week before!
I should have expected no better from a man of the cloth!

And did the Sec of State's hat extend? Or did they deliberately NOT select a photo of him in manipulable hat?

They did not change his hat and Gavin doesn't wear stupid hats when he represents his country.
Perhaps it is just your glasses need an adjustment
Still if it stops you thinking about how disastrous he is for the Labour party you carry on!

126 party members braved the elements yesterday afternoon in Deal to vote for their preferred candidate, clearly a lot of enthusiasm there.

She ran the successful campaign for Rosie Duffield in Canterbury last time out which must have had a bearing on her being selected.
