Not so long as they really know the area they hope to represent, an odd visit is not enough to know an area however many people they talk to.

I think that party members voted for Charlotte as she has a track record of winning and the others didn't. The choice was between Stacey who is still learning, the Tory that switched to Labour after her benefits were cut and a carpet bagger that failed in two other constituencies at General Elections.

So the new Dover Labour party candidate's background is,,, in 2015 she voted Tory and supports a soft leaving the EU? ,, in other words, an EU IN,, in an EU out constituency??
