The text on the Tab at the top of the page (on my PC) reads...
"Town Team member is mad"
Perhaps not the whole truth, but every little helps.

I will stick my neck out here and give you a prediction.
1/ miss Hawkins will win by a landslide victory.
2/conservative and ukip will fight it out for second place.
the only draw back will be seeing Chaz and dave in shorts and string vests.in the boxing ring.

Adding to DPPT's recent move to UKIP, the Town Team leader has also moved into the UKIP camp.

sorry alex you have got this backside about face.
a) dppt have not moved anywhere let alone left anywhere.
b) the town team are individual volunteers, no doubt with political views but as a whole have no political axe to grind.
c) i am not sure that david is their leader if in fact they have one.

David is not the chairman of the Town Team, those who want to go along to the open meetings and contribute can find out who is!

I've not been grinding any political axe, Howard, nor suggested anyone in the town team has.
Just commented on post 1 of this thread, that a a town team member became a UKIP member, that's all.
I haven't said anything negative to anyone in this respect.
As for DPPT, you can't say I am wrong in writing that DPPT made a move to UKIP, because they did, when approaching Nigel Farage. It does''t mean they became UKIP, but they did lobby UKIP's support.
I'll state so so much as I feel like it!

no alex in post 11 you said leader not member, also i was there the morning of the ukip meeting on the seafront and only neil of the person's port was in attendance.
nigel farage lent his support to the person's port ideal as it was a good soundbite for the interview on the beach afterwards.
we will probably never know what his genuinely held view is.

Well alritght my apologies for writing that David Little is the leader of the Town Team. I thought he was, now understand he isn't.
As a UKIP member and local party co-chairman, can David tell us then where UKIP as a national party stands concerning the Port of Dover?
In particular with regards to the General Election, it's something UKIP ought to clarify after their national leader openly praised Charlie Elphicke in relation to the DPPT and our Port.
In fact Nigel Farage said Charlie should be supported on this issue.
I wonder how long it will take local UKIP to answer this simple, plain question.

I thought David Little was not posting on this forum any more.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

As David is no longer a member on here, you may be waiting some time for an answer Alexander. Why not drop him a line instead? I'm sure he will welcome your communications...

I thought David was so keen to post on here.
What's the matter?
I enjoyed reading his posts on the economic situation.
