My thanks go to The Times for being one of the few media outlets (and in fact the only one that I've come across so far) to report the passing of Angela Lansbury and to get the title of her famed TV series correct: Murder, She Wrote.
(Not my real name.)

I have only just finished watching the entire series of Murder She Wrote and loved Angela Lansbury in Bedknobs and Broomsticks, a very versatile actress. RIP

Context is everything. Yes the UK will record the fastest growth among advanced economies this year, but only because it has fallen so far behind the rest of the world.
2023 will be very painful as people realise that the free borrowing they used to overstretch themselves to get onto an over inflated housing market suddenly implodes.

The national and local media are there to sell papers and so sensationalise .
What concerns me more is you get people quoting from the Sun/mail as though it was true lol

Unfortunately the Sun/Mail are not hidden behind paywalls so are easy to provide a hyperlink. I am not aware that their journalism is any more 'untrue' than the rest of the press? Remember 'Hitler's Diaries' for example!
Yes their phone hacking was disgraceful but what they heard and reported was at least true!
GB News turned out to be rubbish. I'm now waking up to Times Radio FWIW

'This thing (which didn't happen) is mean, because only British Intelligence should be able to steal contact details of loved ones from British people's phones.'
Also, 'in preparation for war with Russia', lol.
When did 'Thunderer' become 'Chunderer'?

'
Roots of the country's problem lie in the Norman king's system of lease and ownership'.
I rarely pass up an opportunity to blame the Bastard for the derailing of England's destiny (particularly the frenchification of a robust, heroic language) but this is too much of a stretch, and confirms that the UK's premier 'right wing' news outlet is just as bought as all the others.
