Man Charged With Smuggling Drugs Through Dover

UK Border Agency officers in Dover have charged a 50 year-old lorry driver with drug smuggling. Antanas Adomeckis, of Knockbridge, Dundalk, Ireland has been remanded in custody after appearing at Folkestone Magistrates Court on 29 March where he did not enter a plea.

Tina Turner, 39, of Colorado Close, Dover appeared at Canterbury Crown Court on 7 April 2010 and was charged under the Social Security Administration Act 1992 after pleading guilty to three separate benefit offences. She was sentenced to an 8 month custodial sentence suspended for 12 months and 240 hours of unpaid work.

Feel Alive is back for 2010 and local sports clubs are being called for the final time to sign up and get involved! Last year, more than 8,000 people took part in over 60 sports and fun activities at the three free events held across the district, with activities including sailing, archery, trampolining and skate boarding.
