A 61-year-old West Midlands man was sentenced to four and half years imprisonment at Canterbury Crown Court on 3 September for attempting to smuggle approximately five kilos of cocaine into the UK through Dover docks.

As part of the centenary celebrations to mark the 100th anniversary of the Girl Guiding movement, Dover Museum is getting prepared to launch a special exhibition telling the story of Girl Guiding both locally and nationally.
