Dover District Council is welcoming major news that the Government has given the go ahead for Dover's second ferry terminal.

The Yacht Harbour Association has announced that Dover Marina has again qualified for 5 Gold Anchors after its recent assessment.

As a special boost for communities at this time of the year, Dover District Council is offering free parking on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December in all DDC owned car parks across the district.

Police are appealing for information about a man believed to have been in Dover recently who is wanted on prison recall.

With 156 cruise calls, the 2012 cruise season is going to be another successful year for Dover Cruise Port. More than 250,000 passengers will experience the high quality facilities and services available at the cruise terminals and the wonderful attractions on offer.

With Christmas just around the corner, and an exciting year ahead for the district, the Dover Quality Bus Partnership is welcoming news that as part of the partnership, Dover District Council has funded 23 new bus shelters across the area over the last two years.
