A group of twenty seven members from Pathfinders, a Deal-based group, had a fun afternoon out last week after PC Martin Dadd of the Neighbourhood Policing Unit at the Port of Dover organised a visit to the Port.

Community groups in the area are reminded that time is running out to apply to the Dover District Neighbourhood Forums for grant funding of up to £2,500 for help with projects that can show benefit to the local community.

Port of Dover Terminal Controller Sam Grindrod has taken part in a charity skydive for Pilgrims Hospice.

A major new service that is set to deliver even more recycling for the future is rolling out across Dover District - with the first new bins delivered to households in the area starting from Monday.
