Almost 30,000 devices that help to stop drinks being spiked have been distributed to pubs and clubs in Dover District in December and January, as part of work to continue to promote community safety and make sure the district continues to be a safe place.

Cocaine Worth £600,000 Seized At Dover

UK Border Agency officers are investigating after approximately 16 kilos of cocaine was seized at Dover's Eastern Docks on Thursday (10 February 2011). The drugs have an estimated street value of £600,000.

Drugs with a street value of more than £7 million have been seized at Dover after the UK Border Agency foiled three separate smuggling attempts at the port within the space of a week.
