As part of the 2012 and Beyond working group's initiative to smarten up the town centre, bollards and seating through the precinct have now been painted blue with gold crests.

This years carnival will be taking place this Sunday. The parade will start at 6pm from Russell Street Car Park and follow it's usual route up through the town centre.
