Just a question, is there a Tory central office campaign against the BBC? Maybe it's about the licence fee that they think they'll attack and cut or slash if they get elected. It seems to me that Millbank is cursed.

You Labour people really cant accept that Conservatives are different to your Party in the way we do things, less controlling, less centralised, more individualistic. Long may it remain so.

You give a very good impression if you are not Brian...

Hi Brian, I dont reckon you're Labour you seem to have a go at what you seem to be right or wrong from whatever party. The topic is whether the BBC is biased or not and I'd say that most believe it is not overly biased one way or the other and I reckon the game was up when we cottoned on that this part of a campaign to discredit the BBC by a certain political party that's probably being played out across the country. It appears to me that when someone is caught out or feels that the argument is being lost then they then switch to the tactic to discredit or be personal about the one winning the debate, it's sad really.

the bbc may be biased but in whos faver,it depends on what you are looking in the first place.if we are on about the bbc news it then depends what youre watching for, arcoss the board news in genral local, natinol or worldwide.if you watch it for politics then theres not much of it so to speak.you could allways watch the politics show if you are that way inclined.as for the rest of the programing its just the run of the mill stuff.in conclusion not biased.

found out? what on earth are you talking about Keith? All I am reading here, quite frankly is a load of ball with you Labour people, as usual, trying to divert attention from Labour failings as the only way you can defend this dreadful Government you voted for. You even try to hide your allegance....

Barry what are you on?
This thread is about your contention that the BBC is biased towards the left, it has nothing to do with Labour and its failings and successes.
You accused me of splitting hairs; I commented that I did this no more or less than you do, that is what Keith was going on about

I dont think I have blamed Labour for the weather, just yet - but you never know Howard!!! I wonder....
Ross - The thread got diverted from the original post with a lot of utterly unrelated silly stuff, as so often happens, and it was in response to those individuals I posted that.

Me, Brian - if I were to get into government then the BBC would lose its public service broadcasting monopoly as it is unfit and in breach of the Charter that governs it. That means it would at the very least share the licence fee with other broadcasters.
