The Castle pub is on the market.
You would hope that in its position it would be a good prospect to succeed.
As long as Farriers don't buy it

Use them or lose them

For rural pubs it started with drink driving laws. For town pubs it was high prices, home drinking then youngsters wanting late nights and live music.

The price of a pint is enough,£5+ in some pubs.I like a traditional old skool pub but when you can go in the local Spoons and buy a round of drinks for 8 people and get change from a twenty you can see why theyre so popular.

Farriers have made a statement today to clarify, the pub will close as stated but will not be demolished. Business decisions I guess.
