It would be interesting to see some loading figures for fast track. Every time I see one it's either empty or just one or two people on it.

I attended a meeting in December and it was stated then they were recording an average of 400 journeys per day.Thats the most up to date information I have.

So with somewhere in the region of 70 buses a day, it seems to be going really well

It will be interesting to see how the timetable is revised in April. Buses are meant to be available to meet the last London train of the day. Will the number of trips be reduced during the day? Who knows! I frequently drive to the leisure centre and see lots of empty buses in both directions- never seen more than three on board . I suspect the busy times are school trips between Whitfield and Dover and the same from Dover to Whitfield.

Our daughter uses it to get to work at archers court and home. Only a handful of people up the hill, a few more back down, very few students use it as it is the wrong catchment area.
Surely 3 buses an hour running empty is not sustainable once any subsidies run out?

When any subsidy ends and common sense sets in it will probably be more cost affective to run a mini bus from a taxi firm............ I will not hold my breath to much ego for some desk bound big-wig at stake.

Yeah, I spotted defects in the new surface too - like being higher than the pavement!

Nearly got hit by a bus that was going the wrong way down Pencester Road Sunday.
And it wasn't even an electric one
