20:2491514I think you'll find Barry prefers bubbles in his plonk, but he's keeping Mumm about that.

13:2091820Message from Andy Cooper to elaborate on Ross's posting:-
Work on clearing the Old Scrapyard in Cherry Tree Avenue starts this weekend, 12th & 13th February. If you would like to lend a hand, please do so, your efforts will be greatly appreciated. All volunteers need to rendezvous on the bridge at Cherry Tree Avenue at 09.30hrs; please wear suitably strong gloves and boots or safety shoes; goggles would be advisable but not necessarily a requirement.
This is a massive undertaking for the LRCF and we'll be looking for as many pairs of hands as possible; we'll provide the tea & coffee if you can supply the muscle power! Please tell all your friends and neighbours of this community effort and do all you can to encourage them to come along as well. It will make a huge difference to the area and its residents.
If you are coming, it would help with logistics if you could email me at
fabric@thefabricfairy.co.uk just so we have some idea of expected numbers.
Hope to see you all there. "

Ross is right, you have done mountains of work in supporting Dover over the years; maybe we should honour you in some way.

10:5492470You have my sympathy Terry, I know how painful it can be. I had hoped to visit you hard workers on Saturday but was knackered

after my stint at the shop.

23:3292541Scrapheap Challenge indeed - love the video Phil.
We had our first teenagers armed with rods making a stab at illegal fishing on the site today. Fortunately Mandy soon made short work of them!
