The 'bad' news is that this year, 1,400 unaccompanied asylum-seeking children came through Kent’s care.
https://www.cypnow.co.uk/news/article/concerns-over-trafficking-of-lone-albanian-children-arriving-in-kent
The 'good' news is that you can get up to get up to £1,126.51 per week (based on one parent and child arrangement with an Advanced Level 3 foster carer). That’s equivalent to a £58,578.52 annual fostering payment.

Boats are getting harder to find so the smugglers might have to increase their prices, obviously they intend to keep their profit margin the same as now.
The only ones who loose are those wanting to come here, their money, freedom, and very possibly their lives

I wonder who they spoke to? As the woman who's house it was tells a different story, they didn't force their way in but they did get aggressive in demanding to know where they were for whoever they called to come and pick them up, luckily she played along while the police were on the way.

Obviously never happened. KentOnLine is known for its professionalism and world renowned for their reporting about refugees fleeing France and the wonderful work done by such as Care4Calais and generally celebrating diversity. Funny they never allow any comments on line?
(A bit like the BBC who are always able to find a child on a dinghy but were totally unable to find one in Jimmy Saville's dressing room)
Meanwhile the Telegraph reported it complete with compo-face!
' entered the home of a 59-year-old Dover villager where he demanded to use her phone to get to Manchester'

Of course we've also got
Diphtheria at Manston now (my great uncle actually died of diptheria before we in the west almost eradicated it) to add to Polio and TB coming back in London. Were the diptheria to be contained at Manston there wouldn't be much of a problem but since the Home Office has been sending the little darlings all over the country and symptoms usually start up to 5 days after becoming infected, both Home Office and NHS are in a bit of a panic, though trying not to frighten the public!

Nothing like a bit of exaggeration we expect from Farage, but still not at all nice thing to happen for the lady who obviously kept calm at the time.
I assume these boat people are given a full health check after they are landed which is why the diphtheria was found along with any other dangerous diseases, the bigger problem comes from those who slip into the country undetected.

It is still not nice having police vans driving around the ‘Village’… We have a few..
Also having at unknown people arrive with no idea who they are wandering around is not good.
I am sure no one would like that to happen in there neighbourhood

How nice to see our own 'mini-Farage' coming to support his alter ego. And in doing so referencing that bastion of journalistic veracity, The Daily Telegraph! Now owned solely by the reclusive (but patriotic
) tax avoider Fred Barclay. How much does he still owe his ex-wife? And of course his organ is renowned for bestowing countless column inches on the biggest habitual liar ever to run this country.

FWIW I've never 'supported' Farage.
I referenced the Telegraph because it is a national newspaper of repute which actually covered the story.
For some reason the Guardian thought TWO dinghies (not ONE as reported by the MOD) arriving totally unnoticed and tracked by the authorities on a beach a matter of yards from the Port of Dover was not newsworthy!
With reference to health checks Jan, as I said diphtheria can be asymptomatic for up to FIVE days. Manston immigration is a short-term holding facility so by then most of Manston have necessarily been moved to hotels all over the country to make room for the next load of 'migrants'.

This from the mature Dovorians Facebook Group. 'A national newspaper of repute'?
I note that According to The Daily Telegraph the Ayclffe Estate is now classified as a village…..
A CHANNEL migrant escaping Border Force entered the home of a 59-year-old Dover villager where he demanded to use her phone to get to Manchester.
The 16-year-old migrant, who is believed to be Albanian, was one of at least 30 who landed undetected on a beach near Aycliffe, a village close to Dover, after their dinghy evaded the Royal Navy-led operation in the Channel designed to stop such breaches of UK borders.

I note that other suburbs of Dover (see Whitfield Village/River Village) revel in their village description!
This would appear to be the only in accuracy in the article?

MOD clowns. You only had two boats on a beach in daylight to count.
