While the law grinds to dead slow, I wonder if the accused still enjoys the negative publicity.
"Judge Edmund Fowler granted McMullan bail until his trial, which is expected to begin at the same court on December 15."

A right PITA as that road being shut means having to now go through two extra sets of traffic lights if you are heading towards market square.
Saying that. I'd be peed off if I'd lived in that previously quiet road pre St James being built. Must have increased traffic x100's.

If the bloke had turned one of Dover's oldest pubs into a successful business, especially bearing in mind its position now, I might have had some sympathy. But I don't!

I noticed that the clothes shop Coastal on Biggin street is closed.Has a sign in the window saying closed today due to unforseen circumstances but its been shut for a week now with paper covering the windows. Not sure whats going on there, think it was opened by ex employees of De Bradelie wharf in 2023.

you are right sir lets just hope it will open at some point .Last thing Dover needs is a shop that size empty for long.I hope the new very big cafe opened up in London rd does well, but there is no parking outside and that will not help but looks nice but I have not used it.I am a Costa man and only use that one.

The increases to employer NI contributions and rise in minimum wage coupled with no change to tax thresholds means that growth is stagnant and will be for a very long time. This chancellor is completely inept. Interesting comment from Next reported recently that jobs in retail will be hard to get - they will be reducing their workforce because of rising costs. Very bad news for those seeking jobs in retail. The chancellor needs to be thinking about how to boost and grow the economy and getting people off benefits and back into meaningful employment. Put the Great back into Great Britain!
