How curious that you should choose to highlight this one Cameronesque lie amongst the 350 million others. Perhaps you should think twice about the election process for your party leaders.

It is the political parties that are causing this mess Keith, the Tories have had a civil war in their party over Europe for years and it is all about which faction takes control not about what is best for us. The Labour party are using the issue to try and force a General Election which they think they will win and are not really that interested in seeing us get a good leaving deal despite what they say.

Now that battle buses are back complete with slogans maybe the PM could send one around the country bearing the legend "Let's not fritter away 39 billion quid on the NHS, just send it to Brussels who will know best how to spend it" ?

Michael Gove sometimes known as Mr R Slicker.
Brexiteers have attacked Michael Gove for defending Theresa May’s deal with Brussels and suggesting there could be another referendum if MPs reject it. The environment secretary described her withdrawal agreement as the best option available at present and warned that leaving without any agreement would cause economic turbulence. However, he did not rule out a Norway-style agreement if Mrs May failed to get her proposals through parliament next week and added that there may be a majority in parliament for a second vote.
One Brexiteer said that Mr Gove’s performance was “mad” and “such a betrayal”. Mr Gove told the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show that a no-deal exit, of the kind backed by some Brexiteers, would result in “trouble for the economy” that was “clearly . . . going to cause hurt”. He also attacked those calling for a second referendum, accusing them of thinking that pro-Brexit voters were “thick” and “prejudiced” and jeopardising public faith in democracy. He admitted that parts of the deal left him uncomfortable. The backstop, he said, would mean that “there are some rules that might apply in Northern Ireland that might not apply in other parts of the UK”.
However, he said that such a scenario would be more uncomfortable for the EU, creating a hefty incentive for both sides to agree a trade deal. Under the backstop Britain would have an advantage over other European nations, he said, because it would have tariff-free access to the single market without paying a penny as well as control of borders. He said that it “fundamentally works against the interests of the single market and against the interests of European nations”.

A man who bends whichever way the wind blows, completely untrustworthy.

They will have to make public the full legal advice eventually so might just as well do it now or it just looks like they are trying to pull the wool over our eyes.

I'll go for a repeat performance of the impact assessments, i.e. the required document(s) don't actually exist - which is what the Government is really trying to hide....

The next five days in the Commons sees an eight hour debate each day leading up to the vote on Tuesday evening, seems like the PM is trying to bore the MPs into voting for her deal.

Poor old Cruella it is not often, if ever, that a PM is found to be in contempt of Parliament.

That was not entirely unexpected, ignore the majority and you are asking for trouble, be it the legalities or the general content of the Brexit waffle.

Where does it all go from now? The PM loses three votes in a day and Nigel Farage has left UKIP saying there is room for another Brexit party!! The fringe right is in disarray with "For Britain" getting nowhere due to Tommy being welcomed into UKIP by Batten who has no idea on how to get mass appeal.
