I saw these Parliamentarians in a field in the lanes yesterday:
Do nothing and nothing happens.

It occurs to me that one can substitute 'crown minister' for 'staff officer' in "They were only playing leapfrog".
By the way, the notion that when we say "leapfrog", they say "how high?" doesn't appear to be bourne out in practice.

Panic among some senior MPs but by the time of the next General Election I think it will be a vote winner for Labour.

Mr Captain sir, I think the exotic cheroots are at it again - the latest wheeze is to bring back Duty Free status for UK-EU journeys (the default scenario in any case). Could you have a word please as my hall wall can't stand many more dents?

You wanted to spend the £350 Brexit bonus on the NHS.
I wanted to spend it on fun things like Trident submarines.
Charlie wants it blown offsetting reduced revenue on tax on drink and fags which are both causing long term health problems and deaths!
Brilliant.

#843 Peculiar how the Trident Nuclear Weapons seems to be seen as a huge deterrent in the UK's foreign policy propaganda yet North Korea having a nuclear weapon is seen as a major statement of war.
(£350 might pay for the bus to be resprayed. £350 million per week would save
OUR NHS.

The largest individual donor in the section on "gifts, benefits and hospitality from UK sources" was the Road Haulage Association, which the register revealed funds a researcher in the office of Dover's Conservative MP Charlie Elphicke at a cost of £22,577.

Labour colleagues are trying to “delay the inevitable” and “wreck for wrecking’s sake”

The turn of Labour to shoot themselves in the foot. Whatever happened to cabinet and shadow cabinet collective responsibility where despite disagreements all members sang from the same hymn sheet in public?

Perhaps they've listened to this forum and sought to go with that which they individually believe is best, rather than following party doctrine willy-nilly. Alternatively, it could be Mr Starker distancing himself/his party from the apparently ill-informed utterings of Mr Watson.
