Neil
I needed my latest post as in happy to put my points but when my deceased family Is raised as a reason g
Why i shouldn't post that's one step to far .
Iv cooled down now and I return to your latest post .
In all honesty Neil I would probably share Andy Burnham would make a good leader , but I'm unsure of he even wants it.
Like Neil says with the present internal wranglings it's unlikely to happen even if he did .
This post is on Labour and I have been as critical on the conservative post, no more so though than many other posters .
Beer gate may not be important , but just like Boris it's about Is he fit to lead .

Sue
I have worked with you over the years without any great problem ,
But what your post indicated with no misunderstanding , is that you don't wish to hear my view with the other poster , and that is completely fine .
Indeed I was a labour cllr just the same as you were s lib dem cllr before joining the conservatives .
That to is fine .
We may not agree all the time , it would be boring if we did , I will give my views and by all means give yours I read them and answer if required .
You have an opinion as does the other poster you mention on whether or not partygate/beer gate
Is high on the agenda of people .
We may differ on the view but I have never asked you to stop posting , in fact quite the opposite

Quite amusing the labour leaflet in Lancashire saying that it's a two horse race (Tory and lab) in by election
And the greens won it lol

At least he finally worked it out, unlike most Conservatives (or Labour people for that matter).
'...
the Conservative party, being neither meaningfully socially conservative nor particularly interested in using an 80 seat majority, exists for the sole purpose of keeping Labour out of office...'
'
It doesn't conserve...'
'
It doesn’t reverse...'
'
Conservative MPs are mostly to the left of Labour voters on social issues....'
(I'd say that these MPs, and their electorates, are so politically dim they don't realise how Left they actually are.)

That's good you two bother each other .
I think local people will take the easy route and just not vote , which is what Boris (if he's still there at next election ) is hoping for .
As for our Mr Starmer he's still expelling those that he disagrees with , and parachuting in candidates against the wishes of the local membership .
It's going to be hard struggle for labour , but maybe the next two by elections will show if support is returning to labour

Could Starmer do more to build a vision? Yes. Could he concentrate more on external rather than internal politics? Absolutely. But one thing I am absolutely sure of is that if Johnson remains, and Labour and the Lib Dems work together, the Tories are out.
