And a few other parties or Indies elected

Rosie Duffield gets to the - ahem -nub of the problem (without realising it): What is the
point of the Labour Party?
Or, the revolutionaries eat themselves.
'I have lived through an abusive relationship...'
'Ben Bradshaw yelled his disapproval at me... Lloyd Russell-Moyle went puce... and started to heckle every woman who spoke of their similar concerns. Later... he accused Miriam Cates of being a bigot before crossing over to the Tory side of the Chamber to sit on the side benches, very close to her, staring as if to intimidate her.'
'After Tuesday’s outburst, came the silence. Not from Russell-Moyle, but from Keir Starmer’s office.'
'I am... a progressive, Left-wing MP who cares about ordinary women, and now wonders whether the party I represent is capable of standing up for them.'

I don't share the view she's anywhere near the left of the party .
She's very lucky that in Canterbury (even though I'm hearing she's living in Wales )
Vote against the conservatives more than wanting her .

She has a point but it's not the only point that Labour lacks on, and nothing new to me.
Progressive left she isn't .

If 'canters' is a mumble for 'Canterbury' then what in your view is it about the self-declared 'progressive, Left-wing' MP for that rapidly deteriorating town that makes her position 'right wing'?
Where does Duffield claim that Labour is 'slipping away to the right'?
And why would a 'right wing' MP be worried if Labour were 'slipping away to the right'?

Canterbury MP thinks she's on the left , I wonder what beliefs puts on any anywhere near being in the left .
Wonder if she's enjoying her alleged new home in Wales

Today is Neil Kinnock Day.
Here are some ways you can celebrate NKD:
- do a combover
- adopt a south Wales accent
- fall over on a beach
- have someone called 'Hugh' make a soft-focus video of you with a loved one
- shout 'We're alright' three times in front of a large audience of space cadets
You can also remember a speech you made in 1983, and forget that, 40 years on from that speech, your Party was in power for a third of that time, and a surrogate New Labour Party in office from 2010.
