It does look like most people can differentiate between what is essentially a Corbyn and his former senior team issue, and Labour as it is now.

They may not like the settlement amounts but they must surely recognise that the antisemitic behaviour occurred and is totally unacceptable. If Unite think that the ability to protect and promote workers and the left of centre ideals is best served from the opposition - go right ahead. If, however, they would prefer to govern then they must put the house Of labour in order, broaden their appeal and step back from some of the hard left rhetoric and policies.
Most of us want centralist policy with a bit left on some things and a bit right on others - with some leadership and humility.
We definitely want and should demand a higher integrity of politicians on all sides of the House and there are a fair few who should be shown the door.

I'd say that's good news for Labour - no longer answering to McCluskey is a step in the right direcion.

Labour MP fires off casual antisemitic trope; but it's only 'Labour Friend of Israel' and Remainer conspiracy theorist Barry Sheerman, so that's ok.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-53628761
Asked whether he'd recommend loss of the whip or a dose of 'unconscious bias training' for Mr Sheerman, Sir Karma said he was too busy polishing his double standards to answer the question.

I thought it was common knowledge that Labour's fifth columnists undermined Corbyn from day one; I guess I read in all the 'wrong' places.

Positivity is poor psychology, BD; how many shattered hopes can a mind suffer? The glass is always better half empty; being just a sip away from the dregs keeps you keen.

It's watching how national politicians handle themselves
Labours many internal squabbles
Where it looks like very little freedom of speech
And here locally
No one iv spoken to knows who the councillor is
It's reality
In this area(and others I'm sure)
People just not voting , which will let Tories back in

Indeed. See Rosie Duffield's recent 'transphobia' experience. Labour's LGBT+ group lodged a complaint calling for 'measurable action' against her after she 'liked' a tweet. Though she held out for a while, she eventually submitted to the orthodoxy (aka 'making an apology'). Obviously the leadership 'enlightened' her.

Weird
I find it all strange today that a lot of people don't like , or won't have opinions for fear of being taken to court for upsetting someone
Whilst no one should offend, it's only right people should be able to have opinions .
Labours present policy on Israel and shutting down debate , this is likely to back fire on them.
This is just one area where they are getting it so wrong.
Next govt? Won't be labour for at least 25 years if there Lucky

Is Labour shutting down debate on Israel? Big difference between that and closing down antisemitism.
