An important new multi-agency campaign has been launched to raise awareness of the health issues and the community safety impact of underage drinking.

Police are appealing for information about a robbery at a shop in Whitfield, Dover. A man with a knife threatened staff at One Stop known locally as 'The Triangle Stores' in Bewsbury Cross Lane, Whitfield at around 10.45 pm on Tuesday 12 February.

Dover College is to host the 7th annual Junior Inter-School Cross Country Event on Monday 10 March at Farthingloe Grounds, Dover.

Ground breaking regeneration work for the future of the district has begun on site with a look at the past - as initial archaeological survey work is launched for the massive multi million pound regeneration of Dover Town Centre.

Another application is to be made in May to make Dover a "Fairtrade Town". The bid will be submitted by Dover Town Council, working alongside local churches, businesses and schools.
