I think they have missed a 61 journey out this morning judging by the number of people waiting at the Pencester Road stop wanting to go to Aycliffe.

This has been coming for a while, KCC are softening things up by pretending to ask the public when they know that some uneconomic rural services will have to be cut or charges made to passengers.

letters and e-mails allways end up in the recycle bin.best to face them off with a big crowd and a strongly worded word in there ears. headache time for KCC and stagecoach.

Sue
The problem with being against demonstrations is that unless stagecoach know you mean business writing letters etc often go no where
We had a public meeting on the 68 Maxton bus and local people got stagecoach to change its mind
People power can work
ALL POSTS ARE MY OWN PERSONAL VIEWS

I remember those meetings well Keith and people power with the help of clued up councillors won the day but this is about rural services being lost. Stagecoach are not involved so it is up to KCC councillors to fight on behalf of those likely to lose out. Do you have confidence in those elected fighting their corner. Recently our former leader "Watty" compared his time at Maidstone as like being in a gentleman's club with a relaxed atmosphere and nothing of great importance happening.

We took the bus today from Eythorne to Dover. Brilliant. 92A from Eythorne to Lydden Bell on time and we were the only passengers, waited no more than 30 seconds for the 15 to come down the hill and take us to Pencester. Three others on board. 30 minutes exactly for the journey.

Normally the 92/92a is fairly full when arriving in Pencester Road so it must be popular in St Radigunds and River.

Pablo was lucky.I have seen that 92ain Lydden but unfortunately it does not tie in with the 15.I was on the15 recently saw the 92a but it was too far ahead for me to swap buses.Yes the 92a does get full picks up,from the Ridgeway then goes on to St Radigunds.
