Lew is correct the 89a arrived in River over twenty minutes late today it's not fair on the people from Eythorne and Elvington who now have to travel via River and St Radigunds. One of the passengers advised me she was travel sick and she had been on the bus over an hour. The poor driver was glad to get to Pencester. It will be worse if we have snow this Winter.
I also tried to tell the managers it would not work
I will not go into the shifts the drivers have to cope with. Please don't blame the drivers they are doing a very difficult job.

A small single decker bus has broken down in Pencester Road causing problems. The recovery vehicle with its equipment is taking up a lot of space meaning buses are having problems letting people off and on.

The Solos are now 11 years old and have been causing problems for some time but there doesn't seem to be any sign of replacements yet.

Today I shall be making noises in the right direction as there is an agreement has been signed between KCC ,DDC. And Stage Coach and from what the travelling public are experiencing that document is being ignored .New buses have been promised for some years now.Mind you it would help if Masion Dieu were resurfaced.Cllr Colllor promised six months ago he would sort it.

Even new buses break down! Modern vehicles are so full of electrics it doesn't take much to stop them.

A solo broke down in my street the other week, it was there for what I'm sure was over an hour until the mechanic turned up to have a tinker, it drove off under it's own power a while later.

A double decker was still running on the 63 route at 11 am, must be a tricky drive through the narrow streets of Tower Hamlets with cars parked on corners.

Can local journalism get any worse? The headline says that all KCC bus services will be axed, the article goes on to say that 34 will remain.

Good to see that the 68 and 93 survived the cull but buses to the William Harvey and QEQM from places in the sticks didn't. School buses have taken another hit and surprisingly West Kent took the brunt.
