This Is Now Farcical!
A Danish registered safety vessel Esvagt Charlie has just escorted illegals to Border Force Ranger which picked them up & is now trafficking these undocumented in to Dover.
BF Ranger now headed for next rendezvous with Apollo Moon.
Support vessel MCS Taku in attendance.
Guess is that BF Ranger will collect the dinghy occupants and MCS Taku tag teams to pick up the large dinghy? This doesn’t seem like a SAR operation more a delivery and collection?

French police attacked on a French beach but they end up in our overfull prisons. Anyone else on here think there is something wrong with that scenario?
I definitely hope they are deported as soon as possible but guess these thugs will try to claim undeserved asylum upon their release.

Read yesterday that immigration, generally, is no longer a hot topic with voters - but the boats are. The trouble with sloganising it, you're stuck with it.

Nothing will change, regardless of which party is in power after the next GE, as long as the French allow the people to launch the boats off French beaches.
We should withdraw all the wasted money we continue to give the French and use that money to sort out the immigration and asylum fiasco.

Rather than a few hundred a day you would have hundreds of thosands of economic refugees and failed asylum seeker from Europe heading to France with nothing to lose with those turned down more than filling the dinghies.

BTW. The two guys who had a go at the French Police, Iraqi Salih Taib Abdullah, 33, & Sudanese Ahmed Omar Saleh Khater, 25, were jailed for 13 & 12 months respectively for illegal entry to Britain.
The violence they meted to the French policemen in Calais was admissible evidence in an English court.

Ah. Active Patriot - the source of all objective and well researched information! Please try and think like a grown up. Why would the French offer the facility to process claims in Northern France if they thought 'hundreds of thosands' (sic) would add to their existing problems?
