I have it on very good authority that very few his fellow male councillors are minded to 'lodge' a complaint against Brother Rix .

If the Mayor was going to make a dignified exit we would have known by now so it is with the monitoring officer to administer the final blow. Thankfully the Deputy Mayor Chris Precious should be able to take over the role seamlessly.

Bringing the generic into the specific.... HE would know which it was, coz he had it up his nose..... Peekaboo.... now you see it now you don't. Sherbert, sugar, in a tiny sealed packet...? If so, how, and why, did he feel there was something to blackmail him for....? He is trying to have sympathy and quantum physics (or Schrodinger's cat Hypothesis) working for him at the same time..... ever greedy.
Re. Post #71. "the trolls have not commented" by "trolls" I suspect you mean the people of Dover. Sky New, Guardian, Daily Telegraph, Daily Mails, in fact the media across the board have commented.
That surely is enough.

Not really some posters were very unkind to Pam.The fact that the story re The mayor hit the media has done nothing for the image of Dover

Dover's image hasn't really been exactly wonderful in the recent past. The last claim to fame if I remember, was that it was the home of Britain's fattest man. I used to have a cat called schroedinger, ( spelt phonetically, can't find the diaeresis ) but I don't think she ever met Mr. Rix, furthermore, I was never much of a motor mechanic, let alone a quantum mechanic. However, I did see some trolls just outside Lillehammer, not sure if they post on here though.

There have been so many 'only in Dover' claims to fame.

And the recent DX headline that suggested Dover has such a low crime rate that the police have to gang up on each other to manufacture some!

Words fail me.Dover can be a very closed shop.Money talks I did have a conversation with a highly respected person yesterday and they thought he should resign.I think he could still be a Councillor .

I had a conversation with a highly respected gentleman too, and he said, 'probably just a case of blurred lines'.
Mr. Rix is not the first, and certainly won't be the last politician to be caught with his metaphorical pants down, and until some of the higher echelon start getting more than a light slap on the wrist I can't see the problem. Tony B.Liar started an illegal war...
...and as for camoron and those of that ilk, just as well they repealed the law that would have put osborne in prison for failing to reduce the deficit.
