Until we get an official announcement nobody knows what will happen after we leave.
All I know is at the moment as a country we are still apparently doing OK and after a very short blip I am sure we will be fine after we have left.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

I fully agree that this planned appeal will be costly and time consuming and will only delay things further.

But not so rude as to drop the honorific such as Captain when addressing someone who has earned the title from years of hard work, hard study and some so claim hard drinking!

That's the problem really Ms May as a remain supporter is having to please 2 camps within her own party.
We need to move this issue on now

I would suggest that the camps in the Tory party are multifarious in the BREXIT respect. They include: Remain, Hard Brexit, Soft Brexit, Pragmatic/Proven Brexit (based loosely around Swiss and Norwegian agreements) and Experimental/Pioneering Brexit. All of these have varying timetables. Whilst the other parties are tighter on their message (especially SNP) there is not a cross-party concensus. In the end, it will be a leap into the unknown and the future of trade, immigration etc. will fall upon the hard work and skills of our elected MPs and appointed civil servants; but isn't that what they should be doing anyway?

Post 89: so far as I can see, they all have the same timescale, at least in the short term. It's called Article 50 + 2 years, unless there is unanimity across the other EU Member States to extend the exit negotiations.

The conservatives will not go into the 2019 elections run up still in the EU.
And if they sell out on free moment its game over for them

Dover & Deal Green Party are hosting a talk by Natalie Bennett (former leader of the Green Party) to discuss Brexit and a possible Progessive Alliance. Everyone is welcome – you don’t have to be a Green Party member to attend. Mon 21st November 7-8.30pm Landmark Centre, High St Deal.

I met a lot of Green Party members in early 2015, with a couple of exceptions they're really nice people. Unfortunately for them Natalie Bennett got absolutely skewered on live radio by Nick Ferrari on LBC and vanished soon after.

Howard
Don't think Blair is to bothered about that, sure he will make a small fortune out of it, otherwise probably wouldn't do it.

I wondered what he'd been doing since his success as 'Middle East Peace' envoy which has brought both stability and prosperity to sand peasants everywhere.
