I'm sending mine back in an unstamped envelope with 'cheque enclosed' written on the front - just to make sure they claim it from the postman and pay the postage.

Just had another glance and two errors jump out straight away.
a) Less than 8% of EU exports come to the UK whilst 44% of UK exports go to the EU. Clever piece of spin but most people know that we import a lot more from the EU than export there money wise.
b) comparing our situation with Norway the booklet infers that to have access to the single market we would have to do the same as them and allow free movement of all EU citizens to live and work here. It forgets to say that the Norwegian economy relies on exports to the EU.

Some valid points raised concerning benefits for big business but small businesses strangled by red tape whilst we are still in the EU.

The truth of the matter is that we do not know what terms the EU would impose/demand on exit, in order for us to continue to trade with them.
It is also true that our faceless bureaucrats are just as petty and meddling as those within the EU, so I suspect we would see little or no difference on that front.
Finally the quality of political debate and discourse in this country is truly and utterly appalling and makes most kindergartens/nurseries seem positively cosmopolitan and intellectual - I suppose the old truism that "we get what we deserve" is right as the populace of the UK pays scant regard to politics

We've been through all of this before with the Corn Laws 150 years ago.
Tariff Barriers, whilst offering a short term solution, have the effect of reducing trade and standards of living for all parties involved in the long run. By artificially restricting imports industry is allowed to carry on working inefficiently.
A prime example is the Common Agricultural Policy which subsidises inefficient French farms which are too small to enjoy the economies of size since all real estate in France is governed by French succession laws under the Napoleonic Code and at the same time leaves much of central Africa in poverty by discriminating against their imports.
The idea of a group of countries conspiring against us to 'teach us a lesson' like a group of surly children when it will adversely affect their wealth and employment rate is ludicrous.

Ross, you are correct regarding the quality of political debate and discourse in this country which is duly demonstrated by post #206 and #207.

Another thing in the government booklet is about cheap flights but I don't see how they can turn the clock back other than penalising everyone in the EU plus the UK with higher fares.

Another scare story that doesn't seem to take into account that in the event of an "out" vote things will stay as they are for about 2 years in order to agree trade and other agreements.

Jeremy Corbyn looked very unconvincing making the "remain" case today talking about worker's rights and reforming from within.
Always sad to see an apparent conviction politician going against his beliefs.

Must be very difficult for those who are undecided how to vote, Boris Johnson and two others claiming money saved should go the NHS but all three previously had campaigned for cuts to the NHS and charging for services.

What do we believe?
This morning George Osborne announces that each family will be £4300 worse off each year if we leave the EU. The trouble is anyone can make statements like that because we don't know the real facts to make an argument.

That is all very well Brian but we need full and accurate information so that make the right decision, all we are getting is politicians trying to make careers out the situation.
