I don't really understand the fuss that is "Wardrobegate"; in these times of food banks and what-have-you I regularly send clothes to charity shops and, despite having been wary of the 'it's time for a change' mantra that delivered us a new administration, I'd be happy to donate pre-loved clothes to the current government front bench.

Some schoolboy errors but hardly fatal. We have five years, but do need to learn, fast. The only reason Labour was voted in, is because people had had enough of the last lot. We can't allow ourselves to be dragged down to that level.

Afraid that horse has already bolted…….photographers, free clothes, free concert / football tickets, 40th birthday party, free stay in New York, free glasses, and they have the audacity to say they’re “different “ . Just a different set of freebies, from a different donor. It makes me shudder to consider how much influence Lord Alli is expecting to exert in return.
Interesting letter in the Times today concerning a case of wine which sent to Rishi Sunak from the British Wine Growers association- apparently he declared the gift, gave it to the Government and then bought it back at the full market value.
Sadly before the election I thought Starmer came across as a decent honest man…….how wrong I was!

It's this continued error of judgement that eats away at Neil's lot.
The danger is the people that wanted Tories out ,
Can as easily want Neil's lot out.

People can wish governments (and individual MPs) out of office for all kinds of reasons, but they only get the chance every so often. I guess it's not certain that a Fastrack bus will be along before the next election, but the 'danger' of another change in administration is hardly immediate.

The way things are going at the moment in what should be a golden time by next election Labour will be as hated as the last Tory lot.

Exactly this. I want Starmer to stop chasing the likes of Captain and Arthur - they'll never vote Labour so have more confidence in your own beliefs.

I'm really not sure who Starmer is chasing as core support.
Look at the turnout in St Radigunds 8%
That tells you how bad Labour's support is

Yes, while Labour has a huge majority, it does not enjoy huge public support. We are there due to complete self destruction by the Tories. The good thing is that we do have the parliamentary majority to make a difference - let's hope we use it.

The turnout, or lack of it, in St Rads is more likely to be telling you that the electorate prefers a WGS carry-out to voting for anyone at all in a local by-election.

Not soon enough for some "right -wingers" apparently:

Asked by the BBC if Duffield would be welcomed into the Conservative Party, Tugendhat said: "That's really a decision for her... but I strongly suspect she won't be asking". Shame, I'm all for symmetry.

Bravo Rosie Duffield! Just hope more Labour MPs have enough courage to follow her example.

With her views she would easily fit into the Tory party .
Having support of right wing Tory MPs tells the story .
She moans about Starmer and winter fuel allowance but she voted for it !!!!!!
