Thankfully local pubs do have support
And many are looking at live music or food as a way forward but it's not easy

It seems that the Bull is now owned by Farriers funeral directors, which will lead to the demolishing of the outbuilding and one of the skittle alleys to enable them to access their building through the pub car park.
Probably is rare thing in the trade for a pub to be owned be an undertakers.

Do you know if it is to stay as a pub or just an extension of the undertakers?

Yep. Sold by the chain that owned it to the highest bidders. Do you know whether they intend to keep the old pub running and the existing landlord in place?

The pub's staying open. There's a new pool table and jukebox and I think there's going to be some renovations upstairs.
It's a freehouse now as well, before it was pretty much the only pub in the vicinity that wasn't.

The Red Lion appears to have gone downhill further. All of the men's and women's skittles teams have departed mid-season to other pubs.

Well I suppose that makes sense; "Hello, Flashman's? I'd like Granny removed and stored please."

Was told recently that the Three Cups will be closing and turned into flats.
Has been up for sale this year.
