Goodness gracious me, we have not had a decent bicker for ages between so called adults for a while, a shame we have this one.

I'll give Labour some credit, they got rid of garden parties, the epitome of self important nobodies eating and drinking at taxpayer's expense for absolutely no purpose. Well done the Labour party.
Interestingly, after taking control of Deal Town Council, the Labour Group have done away with the parsimony of the previous administration, and at Saturday's Charter Day, instead of the usual sandwiches and a cup of tea, are offering a slap up sit down meal to the assembled dignitaries (sic). To quote from my invite:-
'This year’s Charter Day will take place on Saturday 15th October at 1pm at Trinity Church Deal. The Mayor has asked me to contact you and ask if you intend to come as we need to confirm the catering arrangements as soon as possible. Please can you confirm whether or not you will be attending the service and the lunch and if you will be bringing a guest by Monday 12th September.'
I have declined the invitation. You can tell a man by the company he keeps etc!

High density housing, close to town centre, low parking provision, to 'attract a younger demographic, potentially appealing to those working in London'?
Must be Ashford!
Meanwhile we plan to concrete over England's green and pleasant land at Whitfield and an AONB at Farthingloe with Peacehaven 2.0!

I am beginning to wonder if the place will ever get built, it seems to be delay after delay some of which must have been foreseeable.

I wonder how the arrangement with Kier is working. They are still working on site until a new contractor is found, but they have completed phase one as per the initial contract are they now being paid a daily rate to continue? or is it as a goodwill gesture on there part? if so it can only last for a finite period.

How about an up-date from someone?
There are rumours upon rumours, even the Road Sweeper, knows more than we do.
Is there anywhere or anyone where the General Public can find out anything?

Piling rigs on site currently working on block C , they will then move to block D & join other piling rigs to complete block A . New electricity sub station to be connected to rear of Dolphin House then existing to be demolished. BT are moving in to divert fibre optics from old P&O /former AA site. Infilling excavation works is moving ahead with other utility services being completed. Hotel & cinema sites being prepared for steel frame works to start. Piling completed on these sites. That was up to yesterday.

Still on time?
In Jan 2014 I was told by Bond City I'd be watching films at the cinema in Spring 2016. The head of development DDC was there with me.
Let's face it Paul, they've run rings round you lot for years and are continuing to do so.
