I have heard the CP orders going through depends on a minimum number of retailers signing up - Catch 22

The turn over of shops in the Charlton Centre is quite astonishing, when I went through yesterday The former butchers then exotic foodstuffs outlet had changed hands again and seems to sell anything and everything. The shop further along sells musical instruments and the games shop at the back never seems to be open.

I never saw that food shop (where the butchers were) open so no wonder they did not survive.

Wouldn't surprise me Brian that unit is only known to those who use the Charlton centre as a cut through to get to Asda or Morrison's. So many people have tried and failed, the craft shop that was there moved further inside and I believe it is now doing well.

We went in the above mentioned exotic food shop once. I picked up a bag of some dried ring-shaped things labelled 'As Whole'. We both laughed so much we had to leave immediately and never went back.

I thought for a minute I must be the incarnation of Nostradamus and foreseen all those events, unfortunately the edition is dated back in October.

I have just read the following on Facebook about Burlington House, is it true or wishful thinking.
"Laurie Glover CPO went through high court this week, there's a secret plan to bring it down next weekend - should be in Dover express this week"

Not true Jan. It is still with Communities & Local Gov. Dept. awaiting Secretary of State decision. Never been near the Courts. Hopefully it never will be.

Laurie Glover was a member here works/worked for My Ferry Link, sounds like a wind up.
Besides it will take months to dismantle bit by bit from within.
