IS IT Mr Care or mr tranter?
still whoever it is, I think these arguments have now long past
the staff within will need to take up the challenge
I hope the centre remains as good as it always was

I have no idea who Mr Care is. As part of my wife's severence payment she signed an agreement that neither she nor I would make any derogatory or defamatory comments with regard to the Riverside Centre and we will continue to honour that agreement.
You on the other hand are a different matter. You have over the years have continued to make snide and derisory comments about me and I now intend to confront you in person to bring this to finality. You Mr Sansum are not fit to walk in my shadow, a position you have occupied for the past 15 years.

The trustees must have a lot to hide by making a Michael Jackson style pay out.

Sounds like one of Sir Philip Green' gagging orders, I just hope the pay-off was worth it.

Bring it on Ken
You have made such idle threats before
I'm ready and waiting
I'm pleased that the Riverside centre looks to be moving on
And I wish them well

O Mr Sansum I admire your belief in yourself but you are ill equipped to take me on in a battle of wits.
You should perhaps retire to your natural habitat in the dark woods as per your character in Wind in the Willows.

Yes indeed I believe in myself
So as I say bring it on

There is certain lack of eloquence in your response, repetition of a previous statement reinforces my and others opinion of you.

I consider both Ken and Keith as my friend .I worked with both of them over the years.Whatever your differences this forum is not the place .If you agree to disagree meet up and have a coffee.or keep your comments to your selves. Both of you have or indeed been Councillors there are standards. The topic was Age Concern and let us wish it well for the future..

Thank you Sue, I will respect your wishes and as I am not able to comment on The Riverside Centre ( the topic, not Age Concern) I will at this point not make further comment except to defend myself.

Well said Sue
And thank you for all your help over the years
Although not clear on any Riverside centre it's most unusual surely to be able to silence someone's partner as part of a severance agreement as a trade unionist I wouldn't have accepted that
But that's others fights

Karen was represented by her Union and they negotiated a settlement that was acceptable to both parties as I hope your departure from all your previous employment, where no doubt you represented yourself.

Oh no I would always have a union rep and solicitor come to that
But if she's happy with the outcome that's fine
It's just I wouldn't be

Well put Sue.
Keith and Ken are coming across as a couple of petulant children rather than responsible grown adults, maybe time to go behind the bike shed and prove who has the biggest
rather than this public bickering.

To you all, my initial post yesterday was to rebut the accusation by Mr Sansum that it could be me using a false name to post to the Dover Forum. As you all know I would never waste my education and eloquence behind a falsity, as I enjoy verbal combat far to much.

Going back to the more interesting part of the thread
Do we know of the update of the trustees charging large amounts for lunches
Or is that not on the cards now?

Sue went to the meeting but all we could drag out of her was that it went well and the books seemed ok. Ken is under pain of death not to utter word which leaves Mister Care to advise if he cares to.
