That shows a bit of desperation by Tories
But not seen much activity from any party
So seats as I said will probably stay Tory on Dover

Going by the 16% swing to the Tories in Hartlepool election result I not think the Tories need to feel in any way desperate, going by council election results in so far which seem to be going their way as well.
Maybe Labour need to change strategy and promote their own policies (if they have any) instead of relying on everything that might be wrong with Tory policies and Boris.

On the DDC site under Elections .They put River with Dover last time round that ensured a few more Conservative votes. We used to be Dover West .Boundaries are changed for a reason .

I understand that DDC area seats were the only District in Kent where all Conservative candidates were returned.
Massive Conservative win in Mill Hill, Deal. Could well be Mike Eddy standing as Green influenced Labour vote but the big shock of election results.

Phone rings:-
'Any chance of you standing in Mill Hill. Don't worry - it's only as a paper candidate. You don't have to do anything - we'll get all the signatures - and there's no chance of you winning up there ...........'
....and some have greatness thrust upon them (Act 2 Scene 4, Twelfth Night)
Best of luck Dave!
