There's nothing like haggling over the price. So I'm told.

Unless there's a photo shoot not many local Tories are interested
It's sad when we see MPs putting there MP job before constituents.
The two elections could be a turning point

I see this woman (on her Twitter page that none can reply to) was in Tiverton yesterday interviewing people! Has she forgotten where Dover is?

It's a 450 mile round trip! Clearly she is not suffering from the cost of living crisis, unless she is putting the petrol costs on expenses!
I guess she is lining herself up to stand in a more affluent area next election so she wouldn't have such "poor" people like us complaining to her!

We can but hope that she gets inflicted on another area!

Given the electorate's judgment, it's wonderfully ironic that she was out gadding around in Tiverton. I wonder when she'll realise that she backed a losing horse.

The point is, the Lib Dems could have run with a scantily-clad tractor and still won. Evidently the sunlit uplands of the post-Brexit era just don't cut the mustard.

Just watching live waiting for PMQs and I'm sure I can see our useless MP sat behind the dispatch box? I guess that says everything about being in touch with her constituents

I'm watching on my phone in the middle of Canterbury so although I'm sure it's her, it's difficult to see for definite

Have just watched the debate - a damaging resignation speech from Sajid Javid but Johnson is too egotistical to resign- he will never do the honourable thing.
As for Elphicke- well she’s so out of touch with her constituents, does she even know where her constituency is?
I would dearly love someone to tell me what she has actually accomplished for our region!

I'll be interested to see her judgement in this, and which way she thinks represents the future....

That degree of thought appears beyond her. She seems to be only interested in preserving her job.

I’ve never been politically active during my life but when it comes to election time I will do my utmost to try to mobilise some opposition to our current MP.
I’ve been a life long Conservative voter and I now feel utterly ashamed of the party I used to support .
Natalie Elphicke should not be re-elected as our MP because she does nothing except protect her own interests.

A friend of mine recently wrote to Natalie on many matters and finally after 3 months got a reply.
Amongst the rubbish she spouted was this section, answering my friend who had challenged her on the integrity of the PM;
"In the recent confidence vote, the Prime Minister secured an even larger proportion of the votes than he did in the leadership race. Conservatives are delivering for the British people in what we said we would do. It's time to come together, look forward and continue with our strong record of delivery under our Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.
Voting against the Prime Minister and the will of the British people at this time risks opening the door to a Labour/Lib/SNP coalition of chaos that would take us backwards on Brexit and break up our United Kingdom. That would be bad for Britain and underlines how important it is that the strong Conservative team in Parliament continues delivering for the British people."
They were sent this response last week, I wonder if her view has changed today seeing as that team is falling apart now? Judging by the fact that she sat behind Boris today, I doubt it......

She’s clearly hoping for a promotion! What a farce this is turning into!
I do hope the electorate of Dover remember all this!

Well with you Arthur, me and my mate, that's three and seeing as I can't find anyone with a good word about her in my work, my wife's work and my daughter and her group of friends (all will be eligible to vote for the first time next election) that's about 2003+ who wouldn't vote for her next time

At least I can say I didn’t vote her in! A dreadful choice made by the Conservative Party, one I couldn’t possibly support.

'Coalition of chaos' How many times have we heard that hackneyed meaningless cliche?

She'll almost certainly get a call today, offering her a Ministerial position. What she does then will tell us all we need to know...
