Apprenticeship growth gives Dover a boost

Dover has more than doubled the number of apprenticeship starts in the constituency during the past five years. Statistics recently released by Government show that over 900 apprentices started work in the Dover constituency in 2014/15.

A man from Dover has been sentenced after pleading guilty to drink driving. Adam Wetherell gave a breath test of 102 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Man charged after attempted cocaine importation

A man appeared in court on Wednesday charged with an attempted drug importation through Dover's Eastern Docks - the second cocaine detection made by Border Force at Dover in two days.
