This has happened just lately in many car parks.A very ill thought decision whoever decided to run the car park in this way. They had only needed to study the footfall of the average shopper there to see that many are elderly and whilst there are some that do,many just dont do technology, internet, apps, etc and why should they?Lets hope the parking charges get put back to how they were, for the benefit of the shoppers and the traders.

Made mistake of going to Dover this afternoon to check out the German Doner Kebab. Apparently not opening for another week 'due to Queen's death'.

Obesity crisis- surely the rise in takeaway/fast food has greatly contributed to the problems? But perhaps I’m just old fashioned!

Arthur you are correct.Keith has to bring politics into it.If more people learnt to cook they would make their money go further. At DDC when I was on Community we had families who learnt to make meals .If you have a low income as I had when my children were small .They shared an ice cream .If we saved the money on bus fares by walking from River into Dover we could buy them an iced bun.We had to carry our shopping home .
Feeding children on fast food is not good for them .
