You haven't stipulated KCC or DDC, here are the runners and riders for the Labour party at KCC. Don't say you have not been warned.

I was hoping there would be a lot of new faces instead of all the same old faces.

Predictable leaflet full of what Trotsky called 'transitional demands'.
As a Conservative there are non of their proposals I disagree with.
Unfortunately in the absence of the magic money tree I have no idea, without massive tax rises or hugely increased borrowing, how they might be paid for.
Expect next leaflet to cover equally unrealistic wish list for housing and our (sic) NHS.
"Shall we go, you and I, while we can? Through the transitive nightfall of diamonds"

I never read any of the leaflets regardless of which party. They are usually all about what 'we have done' or unrealistic promises of 'we will do' but never get round to actually doing.

For the delectation of members we now have the UKIP line up for the KCC elections. Ben Glayzer and Georgette Rapley will stand in Dover Town, Tim Turner in Dover North and Peter Mcdermott in Dover West.

Surprised me there Keith, the first two are established district councillors.
Ben.
Georgette.
Tim.
Last but not least Peter.

No.1 looks like a Year 11 prefect.
No.2 looks like an extra from EastEnders.
No 3 needs a cord to ensure he doesn't lose his spectacles.
No.4 see No 3.
None of them will be getting my vote

Labour are holding a selection meeting this coming Friday in the Oddfellows Hall in Pencester Road and only members resident in the two by-election wards will be able to vote for the candidate in each ward.
