Ritaroo wrote:He also put in an objection for the soup kitchen. More fool him as over 4,000 people signed a petition to keep it. Poor judgement on his part and that is someone I feel woul NOT be beneficial as a Councillor. In my opinion.

Are you sure about that Ritaroo you should probably check your facts (save you the trouble: you're wrong!) before you make it a statement of fact.

You are surely aware that facts on here are irrelevant, I see nonsense posted on here, purporting as the truth, nearly everyday.
I'm more and more amazed that nobody has been sued, maybe they have.

Is there anyone who posts on here, apart from myself (who is always careful with his words), who is actually worth suing?

I worked for a firm for many years with only three of us there and County Court summons came up every now and again. I went as a sacrificial lamb the first time and won just by explaining my side in plain English whilst the solicitor for the plaintiff spoke in gobbledegook. After that I volunteered every time a case come up and had great success by sticking to the formula 15 wins and 1 loss. My favourite was at Oxford County court where this slimy American, ivy league type, probably from Boston was griping over a £45 freight charge. Normally I didn't rub things in after a win but this time I asked for £50 travel - mainline and a taxi either end, £150 lost earnings for the day even though I was being paid and the judge made him write me a cheque on the spot. The fact he asked for the case to be held in Oxford didn't register anything with me.
Over a year later I was flicking through the Sunday Times and his name appeared, turned out he graduated at Harvard and was a Professor of Law at Oxford University. Without wanting to sound arrogant no problem with anyone wanting to sue me.

Wanstall objected the day after the local election so people would not know before they voted for him, how cunning is that.

As cunning as you in bringing up something over two years old, things have moved on and the latest application is for it to be located at the bottom of Adrian Street and having read through over a 100 comments against or in support his name does not appear. Nice try though.

At least in Wanstall's favour he made his views clear, unlike many councillors who were totally in favour of the soup kitchen (honestly!), but unfortunately realised that it would need to be located somewhere, indeed anywhere, other than their own ward, for various spurious reasons.

Howard Mcsweeney do you think Wanstalls name would be on it as he's hoping for votes yet again, why don't you all wake up and stop attacking a lady for telling the truth, it's all of you that want to get the facts right.

He objected indeed to the temporary location of the portacabin in pencester car park as did many others he objected because he wanted it be in a more suitable permanent location, he did not however object to the soup kitchen, read his letter and see he was spot on, complaints were made soup kitchen had to move and still the soup kitchen hasn't a permanent location.
25th May is commitee meeting.

How rude, not exactly the best way to win friends or to influence people to your way of thinking.

I stated facts while you lot speculate and condemn a genuine comment from Ritaroo and not one person apologised to the lady so don't call me rude.
