Interesting characters & changes of boundaries could cause upsets in KCC Dover town area seats with River now added & Deal with Sholden now in & Independent candidate being backed by Labour stalwarts. Definite spoiler there.

I wouldn't like to call DDC seat Priory , Maxton & Elms Vale. Hotch potch of candidates, known names, failing party loyalties.

Thank you for thinking of my welfare Vic. I'm pacing myself. Grandchildren keep me in touch with reality. Give my best wishes to Andy & Michelle.

You seem to have a collection of these semi-naked Scotsman pictures captain, is there something you want to tell us?

Don't worry Reg. You're quite safe. I can assure you that if I ever go 'that way' I'll be going for a good looking one!

The Labour part kick started their KCC campaign on Saturday in Folkestone. Speeches from Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell and leader of the opposition on KCC Gordon Cowan were well received.

Gordon Cowan lives in Capel. His legacy is poor.
The Ukip pamphlet is tiny. Mind you, it is the only one through the letter box .
We are in the Town Centre and never see a soul.
The UKIP promises are insane, no substance at all.
That goes for the Candidates too.

Some of you who post on here have no idea how well Gordan works. I don't agree with some of the labour ideals but I worked closely with many Councillors over the years and I know the ones who debate well and work. Some are only after selfies.

The only pamphlet I have had through so far is the all encompassing one from the Labour party, nothing from the others so far. Gordon will get my vote at county level for the work he put in an d the strings he pulled in saving the 68 bus route, hopefully other people will remember that - at district I will probably go for Ann Napier as she lives in the ward and doesn't appear to have any baggage.
