'You lot?' At least address the doddering old pensioners on this forum in a respectful way. Try reading the afternoon postings when most of them are asleep!

I see that "RitaRoo" has apologised to Reg in post 136 which will bring matters to a close to everyone's satisfaction.

Just to confirm, Mr McSweeney, I did NOT apologise, why would I, proof was gained of my initial post #120.
Just goes to show, as I have always thought, you are an obnoxious weasel that twists the truth!
Following on from my original post 120, which seems to have been ignored in the scramble to discredit me for saying Wanstal did not object to the Soup kitchen, well as proof shows, he actually did.
The closure of this kitchen caused much distress to volunteers providing hot food to the homeless, not only them, but the homeless too at a time when we were experiencing the coldest of winters and just before the xmas period.
I am sure it would not have been too much to expect the soup kitchen to remain open until a more suitable permanent site was available. Very unchristian of our Councillors to close this facility in the dead of winter. I hasten to add, not just Mr Wanstal put in an objection others did too. while no doubt each and everyone one of them had warm food in their stomachs before climbing into a nice warm bed. & this is why we need a complete shake up of our Councillors to get people who actually care about the people of Dover,
Not sure if I could accept an apology from any of you doubters, as I know it would not be from the heart

Ritaroo I thought #140 made it quite clear but you have now three times stated that Graham objected to the soup kitchen, he did not that is a spurious statement, your further attempt to connect him to the closure of the soup kitchen shows your lack of understanding of a two very seperate issues.
When an apology is due I have always swiftly offered it I rarely need to though because I check my facts and choose my words carefully before ranting on social media, something you would be well advised to do before somebody takes umbrage and does sue.

Only 3 days left for the candidates to get their message across to the voters, doubtless they will be out today now that the rain has stopped. Haven't seen a single poster in a window for anyone, seems to have gone out of fashion.

You need to get out more Howard. Here's just one of the windows at Marlinspike Hall this morning.

I can assure you Keith that I was paid well above the rate any union negotiated for teacher's pay scales, being sworn to secrecy on what my salary was. If you have skills and talent everything is (and always has been) negotiable!

I did as much as I could, that is all I have to say except it has nothing to do with what is posted on this forum.

It might be a good idea to get your facts right Keith before bringing unrelated events on to this forum. I have just been told the post you were on about was removed by the owner a week ago.

Chris
I am sorry to bring this up here but after the unnecessary comment Keith made I feel this should be made as public as possible.

I have just been listening to the debate on radio Kent re social care.I thought Pam Brivo came over very well. When we cast our vote n Thursday its as well to vote for those who will have a strong voice on KCC.when you are dealing with a skilled proffesionals you need to be strong. We now pay more to KCC in out tax to cover the demand on social services. The lack of joined up thinking on social care is a worry. We need strong minded people representing us.
